I have a confession.  I hate matte lipstick.  After trying several times, my lips can't accept lipstick in a matte formation.  I end up looking like a dehydrated corpse. Additionally, I think mouths look best with a lovely sheen, whether it be super glossy or a downplayed wash of moisture.

What don't I hate?  Lipstains.  Yes'sir.  At first I was not down with the commitment.  Stains are just that.... a stain.  We're talking an all-day affair on your lips.  If you can forge the relationship, a little lip liner, lip stain and gloss over top.....you are set for a full day of awesomeness.  Revlon's Color Stay Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is inexpensive and comes in several gorgeous colors.

I'd like to make another quick shout out to Laura Mercier's Skin Brightening Powder.  I am a busy working mom.  Sleep is lacking.  My under eye circles tell a long story about how much sleep I need.  My secret weapon for appearing well rested?  It's a two-fold arsenal:
