Beau survived his first day of "school." I didn't cry. I swear. He got dropped off at Ms. Gail's house, walked right in and didn't look back. When I came back a few hours later, it was reported that Beau quickly realized I wasn't there upon the quick drop-off and cried for a half of an hour. Ms. Gail did some lovely redirecting and went for a stroller walk, fed him lunch and put him down for a 1 1/2 hour nappies. Good stuff. When I picked him up, he cried when we left. Go figure.
While at school, I cleaned my house and did laundry. I didn't sit down once and now I'm feeling it.... EXHAUSTED. At least the house is clean. ALSO, I did a quick stop at Bath and Body Works for some fragrance bulbs and two new ones are SHOE-IN: Flannel and Autumn Day. A fall must.
The Jennie Show is a daily dose of how I view the world; no sweatpant too tight, no puppy too cute and no subject off limits. 39 years of life experience has brought me my awesome husband, an unruly but very soft-earred dog, and two delicious children. I love being a mom, cooking, ready historical biographies, running, skiing, Christmas, sauvignon blanc, lawn chairs and cheesy yacht-rock-style music (most often heard in a dentist office).
