Goodbyes

The Salerno Family, dear friends to Chris and I, have moved away to Arizona.  Not only will I miss James and Suzanne, but their gaggle of children as well.  Hannah, Summer, Joey and Turtle (real name Frankie James) have provided me with hours of laughs.  With their relocation to Maricopa, AZ I am already looking into flights for a mid-winter visit.  Even better, the kiddies can start fresh at a new school, make new friends and get a taste of desert life (minus the snakes, scorpions and cacti).

This whole moving thing has me thinking...... what if Chris and I packed up and moved?  I'm so game to start new in a new environment.  Perhaps the constant traveling with my job has shortened my roots?  I know for a fact that Chicago IS NOT the center of the universe although, some people may beg to differ.  Yes, I love snow and winter.  Yes, I love summer sunshine.  I DO NOT like humidity, a lack of mountains and lakes and more over, GRAY January days.  If Chicago winters could be packed with sunshine, I would be a happy camper.  I mean, who doesn't love wearing a turtleneck and Sorel boots?  Below you will find a collage of all the necessary items to live amidst the mountains.  If only I could parlay this into DuPage County, IL.
