My daughter has been sick since Friday (woke up with 103.3 fever).  Thinking Monday was the turning point to a simple gross virus, I mistakenly sent her back to daycare only to have her wake up Tuesday morning with another raging fever.  We went to the pedia that afternoon and got a lovely diagnosis of pneumonia.  Good times.  Some mommy TLC, lots of water and several episodes of Bubble Guppies, Casey is now on the mend and back at school.

The above picture is Casey, about to fall asleep on the exam room floor.  Normally, she'd be pulling the paper off the exam table, opening drawers and singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" at the top of her lungs.

The upside to Casey being sick this week was catching up on laundry, DVR'd garbage TV and lots of snuggling.  (My little unicorn daughter is not a snuggler.  Long gone are the days of my little stinker resting her head on my shoulder.  NOPE.  Too busy.  Too many messes to make.)
